ABOUT The MISSION:
The Final Miles
An incredibly moving experience that occurs both in the Nationa's Capital with members of the 60 to 60, finish the 60-mile mission, as well across the United States (with Outpost Team Leads). The Final Miles usually begins at a Veteran or War Memorial and ends at another or a Veteran Cemetery. The 6 miles is a slower methodical pace that allows participants the time to talk about what Memorial Day means, make new friends, and honor the fallen as they carry out the mission of remembrance. The Final Miles is enjoyed by all walks of life, Active Duty, Veterans, Disabled Veterans, Patriots, and even young children, all taking part in this moving mission of remembrance. Final Miles participants move as a team, in formation, representing the strong force of our Military and the camaraderie of those who have served. The movement itself is the show of force that serves to Honor and Remember all those that sacrificed all. Don't be surprised to hear bagpipes in the background and grieving gold star families as they are moved by this honor movement.
Our paramount mission is raising awareness through a show of force. However, we do ask all our Final Miles Participants to raise $250. Many go way beyond. You don't have to participate in the Ruck to be part of our mission. Donate if you can but if not, help us raise awareness by sharing our mission with friends and family.
If you are Final Miles Participant we ask you to select from one of our 2021 Charity Partners. These will be announced very soon.
100% of the funds raised go directly to charities. Please visit our partner's charity's fundraising page to learn more to see how they share our Mission in Honoring, Empowering, and Remembering all the sacrifices made.
